Chief Scientist - Formulation Development

A large Indian pharma major with focus on continued R & D in accelerating and expanding its research activities. To further strengthen the research efforts, the company is looking for scientific professionals to be based in Western India.15 - 20 yrs experience in a pharma major ,  experience in Europe or USA an advantage. Specifically worked in NDDS, NCE development; clinical pharmacology etc. PHD from a reputed institute.

Head Process Development

The same organization needs an experienced Scientist for development of new processes .The ideal candidate will have a PhD in the relevant discipline and have a demonstrated track record in process development. Position involves identifying suitable molecules with commercial potential and scale up of operations from Lab/ Pilot to commercial stages. In view of the importance of the position  location  for this position is flexible.

Group leader:

8 - 10 yrs experience with a pharma major. Specifically worked in NDDS, NCE development;  PHD from a reputed institute.

Head – Corporate Quality Assurance

One of India's leading transnational pharmaceutical companies.
The Company has 11 state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at four locations in India and produces a wide range of pharmaceutical specialties, herbal remedies, bulk drugs, intermediates and radio-diagnostics with its focus areas being the amoebicide, anti-ulcerant, cardiac care, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory therapeutic segments.

The Head of Quality Assurance will lead the Quality Assurance function for the company. He will be responsible for putting in place appropriate policies, systems and procedures and ensure that the Quality objectives are met consistently.

 Head of Business – Oncology / Neuropsychiatry

A leading domestic pharmaceutical company headquartered in Mumbai requires Business Heads for its new-Oncology / Neuro-Physichiatry divisions .

Requires people with ability to manage independently  the SBU. This will include ability to make a strategic plans and execute the plans. Responsibility for Top line and Bottom line.

Relevant domain expertise and knowledge / contact of trade essential.

Preferably 10 – 12 yrs field experience.

General Manager – Production

A rapidly expanding medium sized pharma organization located in Southern India

With US FDA approved plants needs a location head.

The General Manager will be the head of the facilities and  be responsible for all manufacturing operations. The operations consist of two modern USFDA approved plants. The output from these plants are exported to US & European markets.

A new formation plant targeted for US market is currently under construction.

Employees around 200 in this location.

Position: Reports to the President.

The client is a well established Pharma organisation with large presence in prescription as well as OTC segments, headquartered in Mumbai. The Company brings to the customer a blend of modern-day research and nearly six decades of rich experience in the Indian pharmaceuticals industry. The Company also manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients (API or bulk actives). The Company has prudently addressed relevant and growing therapeutic areas like gastro-intestinal, cardiovascular, diabetes, psychiatry, neurology, anti-bacterial, anti-infectives and pain management, among others.

Chemical Research & Development

Qualification: PhD./MSc in Organic Chemistry

Experience: 2 to 8 years.

Job description: The ideal candidate would have experience on developing technologies in the frontier areas like Chiral Chemistry asymmetric synthesis and molecular arrangements and developing cost management anti-hypertensives, anti-ulcerants, anti-bacterials, Psychotherapeutics, Anti-Arthritics, Anti-Osteoporosis and Anti-AIDS.

Special Skills: Doctoral/Post Doctoral work experience in Indian /Overseas Institute and experience in interaction with manufacturing/technology transfers would be an added advantage.

Our client is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of drugs that combat tuberculosis, bacterial infections and cardiovascular disease. The  portfolio of drugs, manufactured in global-scale USFDA and UKMCA approved plants, also includes NSAIDS, Cox2 inhibitors and herbal based phytomedicines.

Head of Agri Operations

Company is a part of a US $ 2 Billion Group, amongst the largest and most respected business houses in India. The Group has to its credit, over 80 yrs of sustained contribution to the Indian economy. As part of its philosophy, the group has concentrated on newly emerging and nationally relevant areas and one of these significant areas which needs sustained corporate interventions is agriculture.

The Company offers a wide range of acidified vegetables, spices, dehydrated vegetables, oleoresins, mushrooms etc. for customers across the world, conforming to international quality standards. Its aim is to enable the Indian farmer to produce world-class food products, bridging the gaps between the small and marginal farmers in India and quality conscious consumers in cities all over the globe.

Reports to the Managing Director and responsible for all the extension farming work carried for the company. He will be responsible for all the extension farming work carried for the company. Also responsible to enable procurement of greens through facilitators and outsourced suppliers. The area under extension farming in both the states is approximately 8000 to 10000 acres.

Desired Profile: The ideal candidate should be a M.Sc. (Agri). Post Graduation Diploma in Agri Business Management is desirable.  He should have good functional expertise of his core area especially Crop Management and Planning and Forecasting. He should have worked extensively in agri extension work with reputed private/government companies / NGO’s. He should have excellent communication skills and should be able to lead a team that is geographically spread across 2 states. He should have good computer skills and should be able to collate and analyze data in a highly dynamic environment. He should be familiar with various forecasting tools and should be willing to travel extensively in the growing regions to assess the crop status and thereby give a correct assessment of the arrivals at the factory.  He should be able to take timely decisions to obviate the dynamic trends in crop arrivals. His leadership skills should be very strong. Agri Managers at both the locations in Karnataka and A.P will report to him.  Candidates having experience in seed companies / agri processing companies would be preferred.

Reports to the Head Agri Operations and responsible for all the extension farming work carried out in the State. Also responsible to enable procurement of greens through facilitators and outsourced suppliers from his state. The major chunk of the crop is Gherkins and to some extent there will be a ramp up on the Jalapeno crop.
